How we extract our Honey?
Beekeeping
Beekeeping is the management of honeybee colonies for honey, beeswax, and other products. We maintain hives, monitor bee health, control pests, and ensure a strong queen. Our honey comes from Chitwan, Nuwakot, Bhaktapur, Parbat, Taplejung, and Khotang in Nepal.
Honey Harvesting
When honeycombs are fully capped, we remove the wax using an uncapping knife or fork. The frames are then spun in an extractor to release the honey, which is collected and filtered. Empty combs are returned to the bees or used for wax.
Storage
We store honey in clean, air-tight containers to keep it free from contamination and moisture. It is important to keep the honey in dry room at room temperature to maintain its quality. The storage area should be free from formation and direct sunlight to prevent the honey from crystallizing or losing its flavor
Processing & Packaging
Honey is gently heated (35–40°C) to reduce viscosity, then filtered to remove impurities. If moisture exceeds 20%, it's reduced to 17% to prevent fermentation. Finally, honey is packed in sterilized containers, sealed, labeled, and quality-checked for distribution.
